When it comes to additions we take extra care in the planning and preparation stage to assure that the floor levels and ceiling levels align. This extra preparation makes the addition look like it was part of the original design. We meet with you to get your ideas of your dream addition and discuss your intended use and any options that we think may be available.

The pictures above are of an entertainment room addition. There was a large deck on the back of the home that had to be removed and saved to possibly be used back by the owner. The second and third pictures are before and after pictures. The middle pictures are the process from footings through the foundation to the drywall. We used Pella transom and casement windows with shades between the glass. The owner then furnished a magazine drawing of what they wanted the entertainment center to look like. We built and installed and finished the entertainment center. Prefinished hardwood was then installed on the floor. The last picture is of the finished and furnished room.

The pictures above are of sunroom built over an existing deck. The original roof was extended from below the gutter allowing a low head room ceiling. We removed everything above the floor joist up. We cut the concrete and poured additional piers to carry the new loads, reworked the floor joist and support post. The roof and ceiling was framed to get an 8' ceiling and the most roof slope possible. Due to the still low pitch roof we installed EPDM rubber roofing. Silverline Low E vinyl tilt windows were installed. Vinyl siding and vinyl soffit was installed. The window and brick between the kitchen and the sunroom was removed and a 6' full view door unit was installed. A through the wall heat pump was added. The door was relocated and two landings and steps were built to get to the pool.

The pictures above are of a kitchen and hot tub porch addition. The foundation and floor system of this addition were built to match the existing levels perfectly. The roof of the addition matched the existing roof perfectly. The entire roof was not re roofed per the owner. Roofing color at the point of connection matches good. The hot tub area has exposed framing that has a coat of clear sealer and has a EPDM roof due to the low roof pitch. The cabinets are cathedral oak, tops are corian with ogee edge and the back splash consist of tumbled tile and a 5 piece insert run on a diagonal. Notice the view from the kitchen sink which we suggested to over look the front yard.

The first two pictures above are of a breakfast nook addition and a sunroom addition. The third picture is of a full home addition. The original home was 900sf. We built a 16' addition down the left side and a 16' addition across the back. Footings were dug around the front and right side so the existing could be brick veneered. Most of the upstairs is heated living area also. Custom cabinets were built in the kitchen and sanded hardwood floors through out. The last pictures is of a master bedroom and master bath on an Ardmore home.
